专业概况

在这里学什么？ Key issues about the nature of childhood, of young children and their families, and the provision made for them are explored in this degree. Designed to respond to developments in the field of early childhood, both nationally and internationally, the programme is for anyone with an interest in children in their early years and those wanting to enter or progress in a career involving children aged 0-8. The degree prepares you for employment in the expanding early years sector, equips you with a range of transferable skills, and provides the opportunity for you to achieve an additional qualification, the Early Childhood Graduate Practitioner Certificate (ECGPC), alongside your course. This new qualification, which is available at only a limited number of universities, is endorsed by the Early Childhood Studies Degree Network.

为来自中国的学生设计 These must include Biology and Chemistry and one other subject.While Biology and Chemistry are both required at Grade B or above, where Grade A or A* is achieved in either Biology or Chemistry (or both Biology and Chemistry), the third A Level subject will be accepted at Grade C or above.A Levels in General Studies, Critical Reasoning, Citizenship and Key Skills will not be accepted.
