专业概况

The BSN Program is designed to:

Expand your skills, knowledge, and scope of nursing practice Increase your understanding of today’s healthcare environment Offer study in a selected area of clinical practice in the senior year

This program prepares students to become professional nurses. Two distinct categories of students are eligible for admission: The "basic student" who enters the University without having completed a first level nursing program and the "registered nurse student" who, having completed the first level, desires further study to expand their nursing capabilities to the BSN professional level.

The "basic student" is eligible to take the examination for licensure to practice as a registered nurse upon completion of the program. All graduates are recommended for certification as a public health nurse in the State of California.

为来自中国的学生设计 Generally, applicants will qualify for consideration for first-time freshman admission if they meet the following requirements: Have graduated from high school, have earned a Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or have passed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Paper-based 500; Internet-based (iBT) 61, IELTS 5.5 each sub-section, Pearson Test of English 43.
