This Level 3 course prepares students for successful transition to a wide range of honours degree courses in the complementary subject areas in the Law and Criminology department within the Royal Docks School of Business and Law, including:

• LLB (Hons) Law
• LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology
• LLB (Hons) Law with International Relations
• LLB (Hons) Business Law
• BA (Hons) Criminology and Law

This course is designed to give you the opportunity to:

• Enjoy a stimulating and engaging introduction to a broad range of multidisciplinary contemporary Law and Criminology learning and teaching;
• Develop the necessary practical, intellectual and communication core skills necessary for the study of various disciplines in preparation for Level 4;
• Build on the personal attributes necessary for independent learning and study to form the basis of future skill development in level 4;
• Prepare for a successful transition to a full degree course;
• Stimulate engagement and participation in the learning process and make use of constructive feedback for personal development;
• Enable completion of Level 3 within the academic year;
• Prepare for future employability and enhance personal and professional development.

You will gain specialist knowledge of the law relating to the regulation and commercial activities of businesses, large and small. Whether you’re interested in a career in the legal profession, business, or the law-related areas of accountancy, financial regulation, insurance and government services, our Business Law degree is for you.

Organisations of all sizes need employees with a broad understanding of corporate and other laws, as well as people with good corporate awareness, initiative and communication skills. This degree will give you the legal background you need to get ahead in business, as well as equipping you with analytical, presentation, research, written and project management skills, all of which are highly transferable.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have passed one of the following: A recognised UK Foundation/Access Course (In exceptional cases) Year 12 students with outstanding grades (e.g. over 80% or over 500 in Gao Kao) can be considered (must have met subject specific requirements). Successful completion of year 1 of a Zhuanke/Dazhuan Diploma or Benke (bachelors).
