This Level 3 course prepares students for successful transition to a wide range of honours degree courses in the complementary subject areas in the Law and Criminology department within the Royal Docks School of Business and Law, including:

• LLB (Hons) Law
• LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology
• LLB (Hons) Law with International Relations
• LLB (Hons) Business Law
• BA (Hons) Criminology and Law

This course is designed to give you the opportunity to:

• Enjoy a stimulating and engaging introduction to a broad range of multidisciplinary contemporary Law and Criminology learning and teaching;
• Develop the necessary practical, intellectual and communication core skills necessary for the study of various disciplines in preparation for Level 4;
• Build on the personal attributes necessary for independent learning and study to form the basis of future skill development in level 4;
• Prepare for a successful transition to a full degree course;
• Stimulate engagement and participation in the learning process and make use of constructive feedback for personal development;
• Enable completion of Level 3 within the academic year;
• Prepare for future employability and enhance personal and professional development.

UEL Criminology and Law graduates have found work in a wide variety of roles, with some pursuing a career in related fields while others have used the transferable skills they learned to pursue other opportunities.

The course has a strong focus on preparing for employment, with a specific employability module in year two geared towards providing you with the best advice on preparing for the job market and applying for jobs.

Whether you decide to pursue a directly relevant career or not, you’ll learn skills that appeal to employers in any sector, including writing and presenting, the ability to make a case, meet deadlines and work independently.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have passed one of the following: A recognised UK Foundation/Access Course (In exceptional cases) Year 12 students with outstanding grades (e.g. over 80% or over 500 in Gao Kao) can be considered (must have met subject specific requirements). Successful completion of year 1 of a Zhuanke/Dazhuan Diploma or Benke (bachelors).
