专业概况

在这里学什么？ This extended course is perfect if you want a degree in Medical Physiology but you don’t have the standard qualifications. First we prepare you for your degree during an extra Foundation year, bringing you up to speed with academic skills and a firm grounding in the subject. Then you can go on to do the full undergraduate degree.This BSc in Medical Physiology offers you an exceptional opportunity to study the complex anatomy and detailed function of the human body in both health and disease.We place a strong emphasis on learning all about the body’s structure and functions, with a particular focus on anatomy, histology, biochemistry and pharmacology.We’ll give you a practical insight into the techniques and instrumentation used to investigate the human body in varying states of health and disease, such as fitness tests, chest X-rays and electrocardiograms (ECG), which measure the electrical activity of the heart.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have passed one of the following: A recognised UK Foundation/Access Course (In exceptional cases) Year 12 students with outstanding grades (e.g. over 80% or over 500 in Gao Kao) can be considered (must have met subject specific requirements). Successful completion of year 1 of a Zhuanke/Dazhuan Diploma or Benke (bachelors).
