在这里学什么？ At Keele University, we’re proud to be consistently ranked in the Top 3 UK universities for student satisfaction, which is testimony to the safe, supportive and welcoming campus we hope you’ll soon call home.An integrated Single Honours degree in Forensic Science and Criminology allows you to explore how criminal investigations are conducted, how evidence is collected, analysed and presented, as well as how investigations (and the victims and offenders associated with them) fit into the wider criminal justice system. Studying this degree will provide a solid grounding in the core principles and practice of forensic science, as well as an understanding of the wider context of crimes and responses to them. Both of these subjects have outstanding national rankings: Criminology is in the Top 250 for Social Sciences in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020 and Forensic Science is No.1 in England in the Complete University Guide 2020.You will develop not only experience in forensic investigation, but also knowledge and skills in analytical science, thereby laying the foundation for your future career. You will work alongside academic and technical staff, supported by contributions from forensic professionals, in our modern laboratory facilities. You will also learn from active criminological researchers who specialise in areas such as criminal justice, prisons, rehabilitation, community safety and a range of different forms of policing. In addition you will examine the nature and causes of crime and offending plus the methods used to collect and analyse criminological data.Our teaching strategy is designed to enable you to become an independent scientist who will have a great deal to offer prospective employers. A degree in Forensic Science and Criminology from Keele will equip you with key scientific and analytical skills, along with the communication, team working and problem solving skills that are sought after by employers. You will have a wide range of career options and this degree will also provide an entry to further training to allow you to work for the police, or as a probation officer, social worker, prison officer or a solicitor. Some of our graduates also undertake postgraduate qualifications such as an MSc, PGCE or PhD qualification prior to entering employment.

ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
