在这里学什么？ Business Analytics is one of the fastest growing disciplines in business studies and graduate business analysts are in high demand. The new BSc Business Analytics degree at Aston offers a unique mix of general business studies in the first year which acts as a foundation. The second and final years focus more on specialised business analytics’ tools and techniques. You will study how analytical and computing tools can be applied in the business setting, to provide businesses with fresh insight and help tackle complex problems. The degree offers a balanced approach of teaching, hands-on practice and training in the relevant tools to prepare students for the wide variety of issues they are likely to face in their professional career. Our teaching staff are very research active with strong consultancy backgrounds and experience with business outreach activities, ensuring that the taught material is relevant, current and in demand.**Key course benefits**• As part of your degree you’ll undertake a professional placement, gaining valuable practical experience in the field of your chosen subject area.• Five years after graduating, employed Aston business graduates earn an average of £35,900 (Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO), 2018)• Learn and become an expert in one of the fastest growing disciplines in business studies, filling a current gap in the graduate market.• This course focuses on the strong link that exists between business and analytics, enabling you to effectively combine the two during your studies.**Course details**Year 1 - In the first year you will study a mix of general Business Studies topics that will provide a foundation for the rest of your degree. Subject areas include , Operations Management, Accounting for Business, Informational Technology in Business and Mathematics for economics.Year 2 - You will begin to specialise in business analytics subjects, tools and techniques that can be applied in practice. Subject areas include Optimisation and Decision Analytics, Data Visualisation and Software for Analytics.Year 3 - This is when you will undertake a professional placement or choose an international study opportunity at one of our partner institutions. This year is compulsory for all UK and EU students.Year 4 - The final year continues with further specialisation in business analytics, with subject areas including Simulation, Effective Management Consultancy, Performance and Efficiency Analytics and Strategic Management.

We treat these applications in exactly the same way as other applications.
