专业概况

This MRes is for you if you’re interested in understanding the impact of socio-cultural factors on mental health and mental health care. It is designed for students who are accepted for doctoral research training through the LISS DTP Programme. This MRes is also an excellent preparation for a career in research and clinical practice.

• Learn how to assess mental health problems, understanding their origins and help recovery
• Learn which psychological therapies are effective and for whom
• Take a supervised placement in a clinical setting
• Gain a comprehensive training in research methods and writing
