专业概况

在这里学什么？ Studying this degree course will give you a rigorous training in Earth Sciences, with a particular emphasis on palaeontology, the study of ancient life. The biology aspect of the programme will enhance your understanding of evolutionary processes and of the environmental controls on species distribution. This course will provide you with opportunities for employment as a professional palaeontologist or palaeobiologist engaged in further research or museum works, or as an applied palaeontologist/biostratigrapher within an oil company.Our four-year Palaeontology and Geology with an International Year MSci programme provides an opportunity for you to spend a year studying overseas whilst following your interests in Palaeontology and Geology more fully, and developing key skills for career development.
