Pace University’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) and professional certificate programs prepare students with the skills they need to succeed in some of the most rewarding and demanding areas of the national economy: government, healthcare, and nonprofit administration.

Designed to help you obtain public and nonprofit positions through an interdisciplinary curriculum, MPA graduates qualify for positions that require strong analytical and administrative skills, management expertise, and in-depth knowledge in specific policy areas. The Pace MPA faculty are active, recognized scholars in their disciplines while Pace’s close interaction with government agencies, healthcare entities, and nonprofit organizations provides strong practitioner adjuncts to enhance the classroom experience for students in their specialized fields.

This 39-credit MPA program in Public Administration is designed to prepare students to obtain public and nonprofit positions. Full-time students can complete course work in two years and part-time students typically in four years. The program consists of required core courses, track/specialization courses, and elective courses. Additionally, students are required to take six credits of pre-core foundation course work or secure department course waivers based on documented proficiency.

Through its multi-pronged curriculum, MPA graduates qualify for positions that require strong analytical and administrative skills, management expertise, and in-depth knowledge in specific policy areas. Additionally, Pace University’s close interaction with local government agencies, healthcare entities, and national and international nonprofit organizations provides a unique work-study program for students in their specialized fields. Students choose one of two tracks: Government or Not-for-Profit Management.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants to Pace University graduate degree and certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if postsecondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who are currently in their senior year at an undergraduate institution may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of a final transcript indicating all senior year grades and receipt of the bachelor's degree. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. English Language Requirements: TOEFL scores of 78 (Internet-based version); IELTS score of 6.5; Pearson PTE score of 52.
