With the MSEd Literacy Specialist degree you will enhance your competitive edge as a teacher and make a major impact on developing your students’ ability to succeed in every area of their education.

Literacy takes a multitude of forms, modalities and applications within all levels of education, all classrooms and subject areas. With the advanced credentials from this program, you will have valued expertise as an instructor in any type of classroom setting. This degree also enables teachers to be more effective in the classroom by enhancing their knowledge and skills in developing strategies for working with children with language differences, literacy difficulties, and learning disabilities. Choose between concentrations in Early Childhood/Childhood and Middle Childhood/Adolescent, and you will have the knowledge and tools to make a difference in the lives of many students.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants to Pace University graduate degree and certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if postsecondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who are currently in their senior year at an undergraduate institution may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of a final transcript indicating all senior year grades and receipt of the bachelor's degree. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. English Language Requirements: TOEFL scores of 78 (Internet-based version); IELTS score of 6.5; Pearson PTE score of 52.
