专业概况

在这里学什么？

The programs in chemistry and biochemistry at the bachelor's degree level are planned to develop background in a specific science, to serve as preparation for graduate work in chemistry or biochemistry, and to provide a foundation for those students seeking careers in the chemical sciences, teaching, law, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and other health related professions, and in industrial and governmental scientific occupations.

BS Chemistry majors must complete the following requirements within the specified time of declaring the major. Some students may need to take courses during Summer Session to meet these requirements. Students who have not met the requirements by the required semester must either declare another major or meet with an Academic Advisor to determine if the student’s performance in the courses merits an additional semester to complete.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Paper-based 500; Internet-based (iBT) 61, IELTS 5.5 each sub-section, Pearson Test of English 43.
