The Master of Finance program at UD offers exceptional preparation for many fields — banking, financial analysis, brokerage, wealth management, private equity, corporate finance, insurance, international business — and many more. The flexibility of our MF curriculum also makes it possible for students to prepare for a Ph.D. program in Finance. Our innovative curriculum, including a CFA preparatory course, as well as hands-on learning at our two investment centers ensure you will receive an exceptional education with our program. The University of Dayton has successfully placed its finance majors in companies such as BlackRock, Bloomberg, Credit Suisse, Fidelity, Fifth Third Bank, IBM, Johnson Controls, JP Morgan Chase, KeyBanc Capital Markets, Mid-America Asset Management, Northern Trust, and Wells Fargo Securities.

TWO UNIQUE CENTERS FOR HANDS-ON LEARNING

The University of Dayton is one of a select group of schools to offer hands-on learning for both traditional investments and alternative investments. The Davis Center for Portfolio Management is an investment technology classroom at the University of Dayton providing industry-leading financial analysis software including Bloomberg and Morningstar Direct. Our unique Hanley Trading Center is a classroom where students can learn about the complex world of financial derivatives. All of the computers in the Hanley Center contain CQG Integrated Client trading software, which provides the same global market data, analytical tools and order routing used by professional traders for trading products, including stock options, stock indexes, options on indexes and currency valuations.

In addition to an excellent program, our faculty are well-qualified and talented, and they are passionate about teaching. They are experienced in applying theory to practice and they are well-published in top-ranked finance journals. Most importantly, they are eager to assist students in learning. We do not utilize any graduate students for teaching functions. That underscores our commitment to quality teaching, taken seriously by all of our faculty.

There are three options. Option 1 - graduate in one year (Fall, Spring, Summer); Option 2 - graduate in 21 months (Fall, Spring, Summer, Fall, Spring); and Option 3 - 5-year BPM program (BS and MF degrees in 5 years).

为来自中国的学生设计 In addition to a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution of higher learning, applicants should have exposure to a variety of research and analytical or critical methods during their undergraduate studies. Applicants should have earned a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based (IB) test is required for full admission. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum band score of 6.5 is required for full admission. Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): A minimum score of 60 is required for full admission.
