As a graduate student in the Higher Education Administration program at the University of Dayton, you'll prepare for a variety of academic and non-academic positions in higher education.

This 39-hour master's degree program consists of coursework that integrates theory and research with practice. Our curriculum includes historical and philosophical perspectives, law, finance, student issues, and organization and governance. You'll complete a practicum and a culminating scholarly project.

Full-time students can complete the program in two academic years. A part-time track is also available, which accommodates students with full-time jobs.

The Higher Education Administration program is structured, so course content is accompanied by appropriate field experiences. Practicum is an opportunity for those currently working in the field to apply what has been learned throughout the program in their current work setting or within a related area of higher education. You'll complete a 90-contact-hour project, which can include (but is not limited to) the following:

为来自中国的学生设计 In addition to a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution of higher learning, applicants should have exposure to a variety of research and analytical or critical methods during their undergraduate studies. Applicants should have earned a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based (IB) test is required for full admission. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum band score of 6.5 is required for full admission. Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): A minimum score of 60 is required for full admission.
