You will develop solutions in both practical application and case study analysis for the key ecological and conservations issues our planet faces.Ecology and conservation field and lab skills are taught comprehensively across the programme, including extensive use of our green campus. Fieldwork is an integral part of the programme throughout, as are employability skills.In your second year, you will take an employability module with a 10 day work placement or equivalent. If you take the Integrated Master's route (MSci), you will have a further 10 days conservation placement. On completion of this course and graduation, you will be skilled in research design and methods, interdisciplinary approaches and will attain a broad range of field skills. A degree in Ecology and Conservation from Keele will open up a huge range of careers as well as opportunities for further study. Work placements enhance employability and the strong practical approach enables you to apply your learning in your future career. You’ll also have an excellent set of transferable skills, in areas such as communication, teamwork and the ability to assimilate and use information quickly and effectively.Keele has a long history of interdisciplinary research, teaching and learning, and a founding commitment to the development of graduates with the skills to address complex problems in changing workplaces. With an Ecology and Conservation degree from Keele University, this programme will prepare you for a range of careers and your 'office' could become the great outdoors. You could enter a range of careers in conservation, government funded agencies, and/or ecological consultancy. Opportunities are also available to enhance your potential with an international year and/or placement year.

ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
