(Applicant information for January 2021 entry can be found on the 2020/2021 pages.)The closing date for applications to the September 2020 entry point is the 15th January and the closing date for applications for the January entry point is the 21st December 2020.Please note that the January start point runs in a compressed time-frame (January to September) but without loss of teaching weeks or acceleration of teaching and content delivery. Please ensure that you are viewing the correct UCAS page for the entry point you are interested in. The (insert course name) with Foundation Year will smooth your transition to degree-level study by giving you the time and space to develop your subject knowledge, improve your academic skills and build your confidence and self-belief that you can succeed at university. The programme is ideal for those who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry onto an honours degree. Following successful completion (including any additional progression requirements) of the Foundation Year you can progress on to the first year of the Human Biology degree.Following completion of the Foundation Year, you would begin a Human Biology (Combined Honours) course. A Combined Honours course means you will study Human Biology with one other subject area, allowing you to gain a wider range of expertise by the end of your course. You can choose which subject to combine Human Biology with from a range of pre-selected Combined Honours choices.The multidisciplinary approach to Human Biology is supported by input to the programme from staff with diverse expertise in wide ranging aspects of Human Biology including Medical School staff and research and clinical staff at Keele University, University Hospitals of North Midlands and the Guy Hilton Research Centre (affiliated to Keele University and NHS - a world-leading centre for translational research), physiotherapists, geographers and conservation biologists. You can add a year with an Applied Life Sciences work placement or one year Study Abroad Placement between the second and third years.

ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
