You will develop outstanding technological competence, high levels of knowledge and skill, and the creativity to thrive in diverse career environments.With Music, you’ll develop intense critical understanding in a practical environment, composing, performing, recording and studying music from a diversity of styles and eras. Your Music Technology studies will enable you to become fluent in the creative application of technology in composition, music production, sound design, screen music, audiovisuals and music software development. Taught in the same wonderful historical building The Clockhouse, these two subjects interact in many areas of your syllabus such as Popular Music, Recording, Production, Composition and Interactive Performance. You will have access to many performance opportunities, 24/7 music practice rooms, music technology studios and digital instruments. You can develop your own artistic personality in music making, screen music composition, song writing, music critiquing and others, depending on how you build up your study path.Keele Music and Music Technology graduates progress to careers in media production, publishing, broadcasting and marketing, as performers, composers, teachers (at all levels of education), and in arts administration, bands, recording studios, post-production and software design. At Keele you can acquire the abilities to diversify your income streams working asa freelance composer or sound designer for applications such as games, television and film. You will develop a wide range of skills in presentation, writing, project management and critical thinking that can be transferred to many other professions. Our graduates also work, for instance, as solicitors, journalists, civil servants and in business.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have for Undergraduate Year 1: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS Gaokao. ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
