The course structure and ethos have been designed to ensure that you will hit the ground running, giving you the subject and industry knowledge and transferable skills so that you can make an immediate contribution to your employer or indeed your own company.This course covers the main aspects of pharmaceutical discovery and development, including product formulation, manufacture and quality assurance, and explains how such pure and applied sciences fit into the global pharmaceutical business, legal and regulatory frameworks. This includes elements of clinical development and the role of the pharmaceutical scientist within the industry team that take a drug from research to the clinic. Graduates from this course have gone on to work in globally recognised pharmaceutical companies. The skills and knowledge gained during this course will enable you to not only work in the pharmaceutical industry but will offer you the potential to work in areas such as research and academia. The School has also developed a closely-related MSc programme 'Pharmaceutical Development with Business Management', which can be studied post-graduation to further enhance the skills and knowledge developed during the BSc programme.

ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
