The programme is ideal for those who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry onto an honours degree. Following successful completion (including any additional progression requirements) of the Foundation Year you can progress on to the first year of the course. After successful completion of the Foundation Year you will progress to study the three year degree programme of Social and Political Sciences.The key purpose of Social and Political Sciences at Keele is to engage with the enormous transformations taking place in society and politics in order to try to think through ways forward into a sustainable, inclusive future.- Social and Political Sciences is responding to an urgent need to address local and global problems with a view of shaping the future of society.- The course equips students with essential research and decision making skills for the contemporary workplace.- Offers a wide range of modules from across the social and political sciences to enable specialism in particular areas.- Engages with real world case studies in order to enable students to develop problem-solving skills through a wide range of assessments.- Includes a placement year to enable students to apply research skills and problem-solving skills in real world settings.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have for Undergraduate Year 1: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS Gaokao. ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
