This is your opportunity to expose yourself to an intensive research environment. You will develop expertise in research and learn the concepts, methods and skills required to apply knowledge with creativity and initiative to new situations. The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is awarded on the basis of independent supervised study that produces a substantial piece of research as judged by independent experts of international standing.

School of Environment and Science

Home to Australia’s first and only program accreditation by the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand, the School also facilitates this country’s only combined qualification in traditional planning practices and environmental science..

A wide range of pioneering degree programs are available for undergraduate and postgraduate studies across various environmental sectors, biomolecular and biomedical science and forensic science. The Bachelor of Science offering provides an innovative, flexible and interdisciplinary program across 13 majors including chemistry and physics, through to materials science and marine biology.

为来自中国的学生设计 For standard entry into most master degrees, you must hold a bachelor degree or higher (or equivalent) from a recognized university. You must meet minimum Grade Point Average entry requirements. IELTS: minimum score of 6.5, with no subscore less than 6.0 or TOEFL: a minimum score of 575 or Internet-based (IBT) TOEFL: a score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19) or Pearson Test of English (Academic): an overall score of 58 with no score less than 50 or ISLPR: no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR.
