This degree delivers advanced professional learning for teachers and those with a professional involvement in education including school bursars, school development officers and training personnel. It will help you develop greater expertise in educational practice or research and can contribute to current teachers' professional development requirements.

Depending on your career aspirations and interests, you can complete majors in the following areas:

Flexible study options include online or on-campus study in intensive and full-time modes where the program structure allows.

PATHWAYS TO FURTHER STUDY

This Masters includes a dissertation pathway. The dissertation can provide a pathway to higher degree research studies.

Autism Studies

This major is offered online.

Note: For those students undertaking this major in part-time mode, courses must be completed sequentially. Courses can be completed one per trimester over two years.

Students must complete the following courses:

• Understanding Autism - 7175EDN (see Note 1)
• Evaluating the evidence: What counts? - 7176EDN
• Autism, Education and Learning - 7177EDN
• Managing Behaviours that challenge - 7178EDN

Note 1: This course is foundational and part-time students must complete this course first.

Exit point: Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies (3270). Students with 40 credit points of advanced standing can exit by applying for a program transfer after successfully completing the 40 credit point Autism Studies major.

为来自中国的学生设计 For standard entry into most master degrees, you must hold a bachelor degree or higher (or equivalent) from a recognized university. You must meet minimum Grade Point Average entry requirements. IELTS: minimum score of 6.5, with no subscore less than 6.0 or TOEFL: a minimum score of 575 or Internet-based (IBT) TOEFL: a score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19) or Pearson Test of English (Academic): an overall score of 58 with no score less than 50 or ISLPR: no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR.
