Overview

A strong business degree is an incredible start to your career. By combining it with accounting you’ll have the chance to build a firm foundation in business with a strong focus on accounting practices.

You’ll study a whole range of key business areas, including marketing, operations, management, human resources and the role of business in society. We’ll also help you explore everything from strategic leadership, performance and business management to ethics, enterprise and creative problem solving.

Learning Outcomes

The course is designed to integrate a deep understanding of the subject matter with the development of key skills and competencies needed to adapt to a rapidly changing, dynamic and competitive global marketplace. Upon completion, you will be able to:

• Balance risk and reward in competitive and unpredictable environments and understand how companies use financial information to make vital decisions. Observe and interpret financial markets while implementing best practices in financial management to make plans, organise projects, monitor outcomes and provide financial leadership.
• Demonstrate strong financial management and forecasting abilities, ensuring the competitiveness of a company and increasing its value in the changing global economic environment.
• Learn teamwork skills, the ability to understand the interests of different groups, argue and conduct discussions, and strengthen communication and conflict management skills.
