As our nation begins to realize the importance of early childhood education to healthy development and academic achievement in later years, so grows the need for well-qualified educational professionals to nurture the intellectual and social development of young children. Pace’s MST in Early Childhood Development, Learning, and Intervention will help you be an effective teacher to guide young children as they begin a lifelong exploration of the world around them. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the physical, cognitive, and language development of young children, and proficiency in the necessary skills of assessment and teaching methods for children from birth through age 8. Pace’s in-depth program and intensive field experiences will prepare you for success as a dually certified early childhood and special education teacher (birth through grade 2) in a variety of roles and community settings to impact the lives of young children and their families.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants to Pace University graduate degree and certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if postsecondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who are currently in their senior year at an undergraduate institution may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of a final transcript indicating all senior year grades and receipt of the bachelor's degree. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. English Language Requirements: TOEFL scores of 78 (Internet-based version); IELTS score of 6.5; Pearson PTE score of 52.
