专业概况

The Master of Science in Education I (M.S.Ed.) is designed for students who are initially certified and seeking professional certification in the same field. This program will extend and increase the competence of the graduate teacher in education, provide effective preparation for the specialized teacher and establish a foundation for continued research and study in education throughout the career of a teacher. This degree program will fulfill one of the requirements for professional certification in New York State in the following areas: childhood education, adolescent education and special education. This program is for students who hold initial certification.
