专业概况

在这里学什么？ This course has been designed to enable you develop a critical awareness of the strategic aspects of marketing and major aspects of the planning and control of marketing operations as well as the ability to evaluate various marketing activities. You will learn how to create, manage and enhance brands and will consider topics including advertising, public relations, media planning, marketing and sales strategy. Your dissertation will give you the opportunity to focus on organisational based issues and develop skills in research and analysis. Through studying the course, you will also develop professional skills such as organisational skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure and multi-task as well as the creative flair to devise and implement successful marketing campaigns. You may wish to enhance your career prospects by securing a voluntary work placement. This is not a mandatory requirement of the course but is recommended to help you gain valuable work experience. Previous graduates have secured employment with Balfour Beatty, Gateshead Council, Tesco, Winn Solicitors, NHS and Starbucks. A number of students have also progressed into job roles as trainee teachers within further education. Some graduates choose to continue their education and, if you decide to continue your studies, this course provides an ideal platform for further study through our MA or MBA qualifications.
