专业概况

在这里学什么？ This degree programme focuses on professional management practice and is ideally suited to those who wish to become professional managers or those that take lead responsibility for projects, people, operations and/or services to deliver long term organisational success. This degree has been developed with industry and explores a wide range of business principles such as finance, project management and economics to give you well-rounded knowledge of the business environment. As part of the course, you will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals, acting as a consultant to develop business plans for local enterprises. This will not only help you gain valuable experience but will also enable you to put what you’ve learnt in the classroom into practice in a real-life business setting. You will also carry out both independent and group research as part of the course. This course offers you the opportunity to gain an additional qualification from the Chartered Management Institute (CIM) (At additional cost subject to the awarding body registration and assessment fee). The CMI Level 6 Award/Certificate is an optional qualification which can be obtained by choosing certain elective modules on the programme. You will be encouraged to undertake a work placement outside of your degree course to enrich your studies and apply what you’ve learnt in the classroom in the workplace. You will be supported by a dedicated placement officer to secure an appropriate placement. This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to seek employment as a professional middle manager within a range of organisations. You may also wish to go on to further study and progress onto our Masters in Business Administration or appropriate PGCE.
