专业概况

Diabetes. Maternal and infant health. Refugees. Clean water. Ebola.

These days there is hardly a health issue that doesn’t have global implications—and global consequences. The challenges are broad and complex: disease, discomfort, displacement from essential resources—none of these is confined by political borders. But you can learn how to tackle these issues on multiple fronts with our MPA-Global MPH dual-degree program offered with NYU's College of Global Public Health (CGPH).

We’ll give you the academic background to understand the trends, contributing factors, and consequences of global health issues from nutrition to epidemiology and everything in between. And then we’ll provide you with the tools to do something about those issues—whether that includes taking a nonprofit organization into the field for aid on the front lines, or working within government agencies to shape new policies for increasingly complicated health challenges.
