Please note that the January start point runs in a compressed time-frame (January to September) but without loss of teaching weeks or acceleration of teaching and content delivery. The Management with Foundation Year will smooth your transition to degree-level study by giving you the time and space to develop your subject knowledge, improve your academic skills and build your confidence and self-belief that you can succeed at university. The programme is ideal for those who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry onto an honours degree. Following successful completion (including any additional progression requirements) of the Foundation Year you can progress on to the first year of the Management course. You will benefit from exposure to world-leading thinkers, disruptive entrepreneurial firms, and major trends that will define future human challenges like sustainable, digital, social inclusion and wellbeing, whilst providing a broad understanding of business practice and the role of management in the diverse and contemporary business world. The four year programme provides flexibility to tailor your degree to your interests with a range of options and choices. One of the distinctive features of our courses is the ability to choose from one of our innovative pathways: Students who have not achieved 60% or above by the end of the 2nd year will revert to a three year BA Management. Similarly, you could also choose to revert to the BA Management before the commencement of the 3rd year.All of the teaching is delivered on the Keele campus by highly qualified academic and professional staff, complemented by an experienced student support team. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials, and you will make use of state-of-the-art undergraduate teaching facilities and apparatus. In addition to the University's support network, you will have a personal tutor who will guide and support you through your first year of university study. We have developed this programme from our commitment to the responsibilities of business and their managers to wider social improvement. The content promotes reflection on a broad range of issues, including the promotion of gender equality, developing socially responsible practice and respect for difference and diversity. The programme includes new areas of research and development in the discipline as well as the foundations required for understandingbusiness. You will read about organisations and their operations and strategies, and learn a range of perspectives on employees and their relationship with organisations as employees or stakeholders. This is supported by optional modules offering a basic working knowledge in accounting and economics as well as free electives to develop specialisms.

OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
