BECOME AN EXPERT IN ASIAN CULTURE AND LANGUAGE, PREPARED FOR SUCCESS IN THE PACIFIC CENTURY. In today’s global economy, the competitive advantage favors those who have foreign language skills and knowledge of international cultures in addition to their own. The breadth and depth of our Global Asia Studies program will equip you with both, helping you to develop your skills as a bilingual specialist and expert in comparative Asian cultures.

This major is a 36-credit double-track multidisciplinary program. You will follow either an Asian languages and cultures track or a Comparative Asian studies track. The program advances a cross-cultural understanding of Asia and the world and prepares professionals for graduate school, for careers in government and international organizations, or for employment in a globalized economy.

This 36-38 credit multidisciplinary major program advances a cross-cultural understanding of Asia and the world and develops bilingual area specialists and professionals for graduate schools, government and international organizations or for employment in a globalized economy.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a diplomas and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 80, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
