The BA in Communication Studies program explores the many ways people and institutions use messages to generate meaning and how these messages are interpreted and understood, providing students the theoretical understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal and intercultural communication and the practical skills they need to become successful communicators.

With two concentrations tailored to give you a unique understanding of communication and its complexities, our program can help you target your career goals. The Public and Professional Studies track is geared to those interested in organizational communication, law, politics, government, labor unions, human relations, corporate-government relations, and fundraising. The Media Studies program emphasizes the fields of communication as they apply to mass media and qualifies graduates for entry-level positions in broadcasting, advertising, sales, marketing, politics, and public relations.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a diplomas and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 80, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
