在这里学什么？New York ranks third in the U.S. for the number of health care companies, and according to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment in the health care industry is expected to expand by 23% each year between 2012 and 2022.
The BBA in Management–Health Care Management provides you with a solid foundation in critical business management skills in this rapidly expanding industry. You will develop expertise in organizational behavior and data analysis, as well as learn how best to support doctors, nurses, and other medical staff in delivering optimal health care. Students acquire a conceptual and practical understanding of the health systems field and hands-on experience, with access to the largest internship program in the New York Metropolitan Area right on the Pace campus.
As the only AACSB-accredited Health Care Management program in New York City, Pace’s Lubin School of Business is uniquely positioned to prepare you for a role where your contribution can have significant impact.
The Health Care Management Concentration will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in entry level administrative positions in various health care settings including medical practices, hospitals, managed care organizations, long term care programs and ambulatory care organizations. Students will be prepared to plan, organize, direct and control health programs and facilities. The program also provides a solid foundation for graduate study in health administration, business, and related fields.
