The BA in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology is a pre-professional program that will prepare you for a variety of career opportunities.

Speech-language pathologists treat such disorders as stuttering, delayed language development, aphasia, and voice and articulation problems. Audiologists specialize in hearing conservation, identification, assessment, and habilitation of hearing disorders. This program provides a strong foundation for a master's degree in speech-language pathology or doctoral degree in audiology to pursue a career in speech-language pathology and audiology in hospitals, schools, community agencies, private practice, and research. A graduate degree is required by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the licensing body to practice in these disciplines.

Our graduates have gone on to successful careers at Riverview Medical Center, NJ, The Therapy Corner of Brooklyn, and rewarding work as bilingual evaluators for pre-school children with speech and language disabilities and teachers. Many continue study in doctoral audiology programs.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a diplomas and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 80, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
