专业概况

Public relations encompasses more than writing press releases and pitch letters; it requires mastery of the digital landscape including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, now hallmarks of public relations. Pace’s innovative BS in Public Relations teaches students the concepts and techniques of public relations, and advances the student’s knowledge of the creative strategies and the legal and ethical issues associated with the profession of public relations. Students emerge prepared to enter into a career in public relations, and equipped to navigate the ever-changing media and communications landscape.

Course topics include public relations campaigns, celebrity PR, crisis communications, event planning for PR, PR research, writing PR copy, and case studies in public relations, where students can analyze successful and failed strategies.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a diplomas and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 80, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
