专业概况

Earn your BS in Computer Science and develop the skills to make your mark with an exciting career in computer science. Our program focuses on fundamentals such as programming, data structures and algorithms, and computer architecture as well as advanced study in operating systems, compilers, artificial intelligence, and graphics–skills that will display your acumen to potential employers and clients.

Your courses will prepare you to design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system, process, component, or program, apply knowledge of computing and mathematics appropriate to the discipline, and understand the foundational ideas in computer science and be able to use this knowledge to guide thinking in technical problem-solving.

Students have to complete the foundation requirements classes MAT 131 and CS 121, as well as one Lab Science course in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or ENV 222. Seidenberg majors are also required to complete two courses from each of the four Areas of Knowledge, one of which must be MAT 234.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a diplomas and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 80, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
