Teachers in the earliest grades provide the solid foundation for lifelong learning. Completing your degree and earning a certificate in Childhood Education will enable you to teach elementary school grades 1 through 6 and make a lasting impact on young students. You will have the skills, knowledge and preparation from our rigorous course of study to be that unforgettable teacher who opens the world of learning to students, encouraging them to explore the world around them, and inspire them to seek deeper knowledge in what excites and interests them.

Pace’s close partnerships with area schools means that we are often one of their first contacts when they have job openings, giving you an edge in today’s job market. Last year, New York City hired 4,000 new teachers. Plus, the school’s rigorous curriculum prepares students for success. In 2015, 84 percent of Pace graduates passed the NY State Certification exams. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a diplomas and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 80, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
