在这里学什么？ At Keele University, we’re proud to be consistently ranked in the Top 3 UK universities for student satisfaction, which is testimony to the safe, supportive and welcoming campus we hope you’ll soon call home.Practical Chemistry is taught in state of the art teaching laboratories and staff have direct experience of working in pharmaceutical companies and can therefore challenge you to develop the rigorous and demanding scientific approach that the industry expects.The goal of medicinal chemistry is to support the search for new drugs to treat conditions such as heart disease, obesity and cancer. You’ll work in well-equipped laboratories and be taught by a team of engaging academics who deliver a course that consistently achieves excellent levels of student satisfaction. In your final year you will undertake a research project and learn how to conduct effective independent research. You’ll develop essential skills for employment, such as problem solving, presentation and communication. Royal Society of Chemistry Accredited Degree The chemistry courses at Keele consistently attracts excellent student feedback and provides an innovative curriculum and high quality teaching. Keele also offers support so that you can integrate either a year abroad or an industrial placement into your degree programme. Your degree will be accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry.The British Pharmaceutical Industry is at the forefront of global pharmaceutical development and is the UK’s largest manufacturing exporter. Our Medicinal Chemistry graduates have excellent employment prospects, whether at the cutting edge of drug discovery or in a wide range of related fields. For example you might go to work for a pharmaceutical company, either as a research scientist or in a more business related role. Alternatively, you might work as a development chemist taking lead drug compounds through to a manufacturing scale or an analytical chemist profiling the metabolites of a potential drug.

ABB-BBC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 80% overall plus Gaokao with 75%; BCC-CCC courses = Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with 75% overall plus Gaokao with 70%; Applicants to courses with a subject specific requirement will be considered on an individual basis. OR an appropriate pre-university/ foundation year programme. IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each subtest.
