专业概况

The BA in Global Studies major prepares students for global citizenship by requiring them to take courses in history, economics, and political science, as well as courses in Pace’s Lubin School of Business.

This interdisciplinary approach gives students the tools they need to analyze trends in a complex global world. They also will analyze moral dilemmas, such as why wealthy countries should or should not provide monetary assistance to help the world’s poor. Students bring empirical questions and questions of justice together in asking how to reform institutions like the World Bank, United Nations, and International Fund. With this degree, students will be prepared for careers at the United Nations, UNICEF, and non-governmental organizations, as well as international journalism and international business.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a diplomas and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). In general, a minimum TOEFL score of 80, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 54 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.
