Whether you have experience in finance or are ready to move into this lucrative field, our Master of Science in Finance for Professionals (MFP) program is an excellent way to achieve a 36-credit MS degree in finance within 12 months. Designed for people already working in a business or financial environment with a need to enhance their expertise in this area, this one-year online program with weekend residencies covers the latest trends in corporate finance, financial statement analysis, and statistics; investments, portfolio theory, and money and capital markets; fixed income analysis and quantitative methods; international finance; and risk management and corporate diversification.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the program, students will be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of the theories of corporate risk management and the relationship between risk management and firm value; Discuss the difference between financial risk management and operational risk management; Describe the use of financial hedging instruments: futures, forwards, options and swaps; Apply the mathematics of derivatives to complex hedging, speculation, and arbitrage strategies; Discuss the M&A process, including the takeover process and the legal and regulatory process; Describe the theories of merger and describe techniques of corporate restructuring and control, including M&A strategies: alliances, joint-ventures and LBOs; Discuss takeover defenses, due diligence, implementation and management guides for M&As.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants to Pace University graduate degree and certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if postsecondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who are currently in their senior year at an undergraduate institution may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of a final transcript indicating all senior year grades and receipt of the bachelor's degree. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. English Language Requirements: TOEFL scores of 78 (Internet-based version); IELTS score of 6.5; Pearson PTE score of 52.
