Overview

Marketing is a dynamic business and social media and e-commerce have transformed the way many service sector companies manage their marketing approach. Trained professionals with proven e-marketing skills are in-demand within both online and high street businesses. It will allow you to develop and demonstrate technical, creative, supervisory and managerial skills in preparation for a career in marketing management.

Designed to fast track your professional development, this course teaches you the marketing skills you need to succeed. Professional Practice degrees allow you to complete your full degree and your year-long placement all within the standard three year period. Upon successful completion of your second year, you will embark on an industry placement for your third and final year.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

• Re-imagine trends, build brands, find fame, add value, optimise content, disrupt behaviors and monetise ideas across a range of media, platforms and channels.
• Understand the role of marketing in business and explore the impact of marketing on society, industry and the natural environment.
• Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate advanced communication and marketing strategies for organisations that operate in complex environments.
• Apply their understanding of different domains of knowledge and perspectives in the study and practice of marketing in a domestic and international context.
• Apply knowledge of business concepts and functions in an integrated manner and appreciate new and emerging ideas and trends affecting the marketing industry.
