专业概况

A combined BA/MS degree in Applied Psychology and Human Relations/Mental Health Counseling will allow you to help people improve their lives while setting you on a satisfying career path in counseling, education, or private practice. Courses such as psychological testing, personality, social psychology, and group work prepare you to embark in this challenging, but satisfying, field. Graduates are prepared to become licensed practitioners in mental health counseling with specialties and emphases on areas ranging from loss and grief counseling, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress and resilience, and positive psychology. Plus, completion of this program fulfills the educational requirements for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in New York State.
