Overview

Retail is one of the largest and most dynamic industries in the world today and this course will prepare you for a career in this innovative industry. During this course you will study the marketing process with solid grounding in the principles of retail business, including store operations, marketing and consumer behaviour.

This degree allows you to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding demanded by employers. Combining academic theory and practice based learning, you will develop your creativity, professional skills and strategic marketing knowledge.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Understand the major theories, principles, concepts of marketing and retail marketing
• Use acquired marketing knowledge and transferable skills within a defined marketing environment.
• Differentiate a range of marketing strategies pertaining to retail.
• Utilise principles of marketing practice in a retail context.
• Use a range of marketing and business techniques to initiate and undertake critical analysis of business scenarios, applying findings to solve retail marketing problems.
